Its red color stems from its high iron oxide content. Well-known for its absorbent power, red clay eliminates impurities and cleans the pores. It’s used mainly as a base for masks and body wraps, but is also widely used for making make-up (powder, foundation, blusher, or eye shadow).

How To Use
- Adapted to all skin types, red clay is mainly used diluted in water to make masks for the face and hair.
- In the bath: pour a handful of clay into a hot bath to encourage blood circulation and soothe aching muscles.
- Mix 3 tbsp. of clay with 2 tbsp. of water - face and hair mask.
- To avoid neutralizing some of the properties of the clay, make your masks in ceramic, wooden or plastic bowls rather than metal ones.
