This soap combines ancestral Syrian know-how in the manufacture of Aleppo Soap with the beneficial properties of Black Cumin Oil, obtained by a first cold pressing of black cumin seeds.
Black Cumin Oil (Nigella Sativa) comes from the seed of the same name, commonly used as a spice in cooking. Aleppo Soap with Black Cumin Oil improves the quality of the skin by smoothing its texture and retaining its beauty. The association of olive, bay laurel, and black cumin oils bring this soap beneficial properties known to calm the most irritated of skins.

HISTORY
Made from traditional 200g Aleppo Soaps, this NAJEL compressed soap combines the beneficial properties of Aleppo Soap with those of black cumin oil.  This oil is obtained by a unique cold pressing of black cumin seeds. Oil of the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt was used for its effectiveness against certain ailments and was highly prized in beauty care. Black cumin oil is an oil with an array of virtues!
 
The Al NAJJAR family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895 in keeping with ancestral artisanal know-how. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the Al NAJJAR family’s soap factory in the city of Aleppo in the North of Syria.
Each year from late November to late March, production of the world’s first hard soap starts over again following an unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidize on the surface and take on a yellow/beige color, whilst the heart of the soap retains the green color of the oils that make it.
NAJEL's Aleppo Soap is made from virgin olive oil and bay laurel oil. Saponified olive oil is a powerful cleanser that nourishes, protects, and softens skin. Bay laurel oil is known for its disinfectant and regenerative properties. The higher its concentration, the more the soap soothes irritated or problem skin (psoriasis, eczema, acne, dermatosis).
